Kelly Roberge aka "K Ro" the human
K Ro is the host of We Have Something to Say! A musician, educator, storyteller, and curious learner, K Ro helps bring the voices of wildlife to life. With a love for asking big questions and making learning fun, K Ro keeps the conversation moving, the laughs coming, and the science easy to understand. Whether in the studio or jamming with the band, K Ro is always ready to listen—and help others be heard.

Loretta the green sea turtle
Loretta swims in from the warm ocean waters with a gentle spirit and a whole lot of wisdom. With her charming Southern accent and calm personality, she shares stories about life in coral reefs and the challenges facing her underwater home. Loretta loves being a mother to many, good conversation, tasty seagrass meals, and helping others understand why the ocean is worth protecting.

Nils the moose
Straight from the cool northern forests of the great state of Maine, Nils brings a big heart and a thoughtful perspective. He might be a little shy at first, but once he gets talking, he has a lot to say about life in the woods. Nils loves munching on leaves and twigs, exploring quiet forests, and thinking deeply about how changes in climate affect where he lives—and what he eats. He is a big fan of Mitch Hedberg, puns and dad jokes.

Busy the drone honey bee
Don’t let the nick name fool you—Busy is always buzzing with energy, curiosity, and great ideas! As a drone honey bee, Busy has a very specific role in the hive… but let’s just say he’s not so sure it’s the job for him. Drones are expected to mate with the queen, which comes with some pretty serious consequences—so Busy has made it his mission to avoid that fate!
Even more impressive, Busy somehow manages to escape the usual winter eviction that drones face each year, sticking around longer than expected and always finding a way to help out. Busy shows that even if you don’t follow the “typical” path, you can still make a big difference in your world.
